As the sun’s ultra-violet radiation is the chief factor of fading (and discoloration), V-KOOL™ products are manufactured with robust UV Inhibitors, designed to significantly reduce ‘sun-bleaching’ of upholstery, carpets, drapes, and other interior furnishings.

By reflecting 99% of ultraviolet rays, and with an equivalent SPF (sun protection factor) of 233, V-KOOL™ offers a simple solution to lower the cost of replacing faded items and furniture. V-KOOL™ is ideal for new construction, or can be easily retrofitted right over existing glass for a significant improvement in heat and fade protection.

What Causes Fading?

Miscellaneous factors – Indoor artificial lighting, humidity and poor dye anchorage.

It is important to note that no window film or glazing product will totally prevent and stop fading.
